Hey there! Welcome to the DWMA RPG guide!


FIRST OFF, WHAT IS AN RPG?

An RPG, Role Playing Game, is basicly like a story. Where you type in the Third person about a characters adventures and life and you don't have to be a writer or anything. But you take turns typing with everyone else.

SOUNDS COOL WHEN CAN I START?

Before you can begin posting you will need to fill out a character Skelleton.

WHAT IS A CHARACTER SKELLETON?

A character skelleton, or Skellie, is where you make your character.

EG.

Username: (Your username here)
Characters name: (Your characters full name)
Weapon or Meister?: (Is your character a Weapon or a Meister)
Weapon: (If you are a Meister, what weapon do you use, If you are a weapon, what weapon are you?)
Rank: (You'll start out as a One Star, and as the story progresses, you may become a Two star)
Gender: (Male or Female)
Age: (Characters age)
Birthday: (when they were born)
What they look like: (A description or picture)
History: (what has their life been like?)
Other: (anything I missed.)

Ah, okay. But, how should I lay out my posts?

I recommend laying them out like this:

[Your character name here- Where they are. eg. DWMA]

YOUR POST HERE. NYAN NYAN. SYMMETRY SYMMETRTY. 8888888888.

Are there any rules to RPGing?

Yes, there are the stanard RPG rules found HERE and there may be custom rules added to the RPG.

What is Cannon, O/C and OOC?

Cannon: Cannon is when there are characters straight from the series in an RPG, aswell as your own characters.

O/C: Original Characters, there are no cannon characters (Soul, Maka, Kid. etc.) except for the teachers and Shinigami.

OOC: Is Out Of Character. Where you post skellies and ask questions, spacificly for that RPG.

Okay, guys, before you design your characters based off that skelleton, you must look at the skelleton in the RPG thread. I just used that as an example.
